Sunday was another hot and gorgeous day! As in most Sunday’s, each cabin picks 3 favorite activities to do as a cabin. Most of the activities were held on the waterfront, due to the high temperatures. No need to panic, all campers are reminded throughout the day to put on lots of sunscreen, wear hats when possible and drink plenty of water. Marimeta girls are very fortunate that the camps water supply comes from a wonderful Lake Superior Spring 120 feet below the ground. Neighbors and friends have been known to bottle the Marimeta water to take home with them!
T-Shirt Relay
The campers were grouped in their respective Red and White teams as their New Team T-Shirts were brought out! The next event was the “T-Shirt Relay”. Each team formed a large circle, the captains take a shirt out of the box and it is passed around until the camper whose name is on the t-shirt stands up and puts it on. Then another t-shirt is taken out of the box and it goes around the same way. This continues until everyone is standing with their own t-shirt on. The game went fast and furious...and believe it or not, the game ended in a TIE!
