TENNIS

Hi! My name is Pankaj H. and I am from Ahmedabad, India. My students call me “Pan” and have no problems with that. I personally believe, when kids can remember your name easily, they feel more comfortable communicating with you, and that to me is very important. I am a Commerce graduate and have been teaching tennis to kids as well as adults for the past 15 years. I’m also a Technical Official of the International Tennis Federation and in 1991-1992 was the coach and manager of the state team for the National Inter-State Tennis Tournament, where the ladies team brought home the gold! I love to read, listen to music and I play bridge whenever we can get together a foursome. But most of all, I love children and that is why I am thrilled to be at Marimeta, and I’m sure the kids will learn a lot here and enjoy every moment of their learning.

Hi! My name is Manisha M. (Manny) and I am from Ahmedabad, India. I am a commerce graduate. I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old and have continued to play for the past 26 years. I have represented India at National and International levels, and I was ranked number 1 in India for 2 years (1990 and 1991). I have been teaching tennis for the past 12 years. For 4 summers, I have taught at a five star resort in Ontario, Canada. Besides children, I love animals, (at home I have 3 dogs and a parrot.) I also love listening to music, watching cricket, Formula 1 car racing, travelling and making new friends. I have been to many camps in the world, but this camp stands out over the rest because the other camps don’t have Sandy and Terry!
